Happy Valentine’s Day!

14 Feb

Had a lovely, quick, dinner last night with my husband at Olive Garden. There was a 25 minute wait so we skipped the wait and ate at the bar. I had Chicken & Gnocchi soup, he had Seafood Alfredo, and we split a piece of the black tie mousse cake. I love Olive Garden. When we came home I had a nice card sitting on the table from my husband. He even included some nice marriage quotes in it. He wrote a long paragraph proclaiming his love to me. I barely read the first page of the card and was already sobbing! I’m very sensitive when it comes to cards… I was very surprised with the card, I didn’t expect him to get me anything… So that was nice! 😉

I received a letter in the mail yesterday, an S2 reply; however, I haven’t opened it yet.

I decided since I’m home alone on Valentine’s Day to sit around and watch TV. There is nothing good on TV right now! So I started watching Pocahontas and I’m going to start the Harry Potter series when it’s over. I think I’m going to try to hang out with my Mother-in-Law tomorrow.

Finally received a text from my best friend who just started working at Disney World. She’s doing fabulous, which I’m glad to hear.

Better get back to my movie… Hope everyone has a nice Valentine’s Day. ❤

    Consider this;
    A couples’ journal.My husband and I started on on our wedding day.All sorts of things went in,kinda like letters,ticket stubs,whatever! We passed it back and forth until our 1st anniversary.Then we started #2…every anniversary we start a new one.Saves on cards(*)> cheap,cheap.Plus it’s fun to look back.I found out he has great scrap-booking tendencies(giggle)I i use inexpensive $1.00 notebooks,usually find them at a craft store.

      That’s a very good idea! It’s kind of funny, we still have a notebook from High School that we used to write notes back in forth in. It is fun to look back at them. I may suggest it to him, not sure if he’d be interested in the idea, but I like it!
